The selection of a good Lender is the most important step in the whole process. Below I  have taken the liberty of suggesting a few names to help you. I only recommend those lenders that have a track record of treating our Clients fairly and honestly.

Before you see the first house, have a Good Faith Estimate with at least 3 Lenders and you will want to be Pre-Approved before you start a serious home search. This ensures you are searching in the correct price range for your budget.  Give me a call if you have questions.

 Basics items that these Lenders will require:

1. A credit score of 620

* If you are close, call, lenders can help you bring this up quickly. 
2. Employed last 12 months
3. Last 2 years W-2S
4. Last 30 days bank statements
5. Last 30 days pay stub
6. Certificate of Eligibility and DD214 (VA only)* Lender can help with this one.
7. Names, addresses, and account numbers of all creditors.

 If you have any late payments in the last 12 months or so, prepare to discuss those with the lender.  If you have letters that have made arrangements for payment and such have those ready. Good Luck!
